As You Like It

17 Regent Arcade, Brighton BN1 1HR
This tiny  cafe can be easily missed due to its location tucked away within Regents Arcade, but what can't be missed is its unbeatable prices for a great range of different lunch options. Our long time favourite has been the jacket potatoes, which come with heaps of yummy toppings, including Tuna Mayonnaise, Chilli Con Carne, Prawn Mayo, Coronation Chicken and many more, and all for only £2! All of As You Like It's food come with very generous helpings, ensuring your stomach isn't rumbling by 3 o'clock. The only downside is the cafe is quite small so its not the best place to sit in, but don't let that put you off as Brighton's Pavillion Gardens, just down the road offers a great picnic spot to tuck into your jacket or sarnie. Or when the weather is a bit rubbish (which it frequently is) its the perfect option for lunch in the office. Also its 20p for a packet of crisps, and no not Space Vaders, Walkers Crisps!

LinkedIn ads allow you to target a professional audience, connecting you with the world’s largest network on active influential professionals. The ads also allow for precision B2B targeting from job title and function to industry and company size.

Advertising on Facebook

So how does it work?

Facebook direct advertising works by combining your own mailing lists and Facebook data.Your own mailing lists are used to 'match' on Facebook the people who are most interested in your business, as well as their friends.

The 'matched' lists are compared with Facebook data to create the 'perfect' profile. The best matching profiles that are most appropriate for your campaign are then chosen based on age, interest, location etc.

The 2 Types of Facebook Ads

Newsfeed Adverts

Newsfeed ads have a direct call to action and have a lower frequency (as Facebook limits them). They have a higher cost compared to sidebar adverts but have a much higher click-through-rate (CTR), due to their size and engaging contact. The adverts look like regular Facebook posts and users respond well to this.

Sidebar Adverts

Sidebar adverts spread awareness and are good for overall branding.
These are more cost efficient and can help boost awareness and encourage the audience to click of the newsfeed ad.

RAJAR Update Q4 2013

Figures for Q4/13 show that BBC is up 3.7% and commercial down by 3.8. A whopping 91% of Adults tune in to the radio every week which is around 1.4 million more than this time last year.

AM & FM are on the decline but no surprises that digital is on the rise with DAB radio being the most popular device to listen on.

The top commercial stations in London are Capital followed by KISS and then Magic with Heart no doubt being disappointed with their No 4 position in the London market place.
Our advice would be to never underestimate local radio. First radio has more listening hours than the Heart network so unlike local press, it would seem that people are tuning more than ever into their local communities.

Absolute 80's remains the No1 commercial digital station reaching 1.2 million listeners every week so Bauer must be chuffed to bits with their recent purchase of the Absolute portfolio.Other radio news is that LBC is going national on DAB and all existing Real stations will be re-launched as Heart!

We have a wealth of knowledge and a stack of promotional, sponsorship and airtime campaigns under our belts so feel free to give us a good old fashioned call on 01273 760 100.

The Future of Digital Advertising: Real Time Bidding

So what is Real Time Bidding?

Real time bidding often abbreviated to RTB (get the lingo!) is a method of selling and buying online display advertising in real time. It utilises sophisticated bid management software to automatically buy and sell ads in the real time with the use of impressions, context and behaviour. RTB targets the ad to a precisely targeted audience based on data about them. This dramatically increases the effectiveness of display advertising. RTB provides a great way of reaching a wide audience at a low click per minute (CPM) rate.
